Grey Cup 97

that is why the officials count the players on EVERY play. it's heartbreaking for the Rider fans to lose like that but at the same time the Alouettes came back from 11 pts down in the last couple minutes of the game.

it's been a great year for football, and for many it'll be an UNFORGETTABLE year and an unforgettable play to end an unforgettable year.

I watched a good chunk of this last night, for some reason it was on in Kansas! I really enjoyed it. To me watching the CFL is like watching a hybrid of the NFL and Arena Football league. ( AFL) I enjoy the pace and the motion recievers.

yeah the motion is one thing that makes the league different than American football. the field is also wider and longer so that opens up the passing game a little. there's also an extra man on the field than the American game too and we talk about the "13th man" as the fans like you folks about the 12th man.

I watched a football game for the first time in about 3 years and after seeing a championship game decided on a technicality like that it will be at least that long again before I watch another one. Too bad, the CFL is a great game .

but that wasnt a technicality, it was a penalty. you're not allowed to have 13 guys on the field ... and it wasn't even an oops sorry i was standing technically in bounds, they had 13 guys lined up to block the kick.
they lost because they had a brain fart and since they allowed the Al's to score like 12 pts in the last 2 minutes then they didn't deserve to win.
